How do I know if my car is 12V?

Check with your car manufacturer. Most cars batteries are 12V unless it is a diesel fueled car. If it is a 24V car, do not use this jump start.

Why do I need to drive the car for 30 minutes after jump starting?

After jump starting your car, it's important to drive for at least 30 minutes to allow the alternator to recharge your battery. This ensures your battery has enough power for your next start.

Which battery terminal do I connect the black clamp to?

Connect the black (negative) clamp to the negative terminal of the working battery, then to an unpainted metal surface in the engine compartment of the disabled vehicle, away from the battery.

Which battery terminal do I connect the red clamp to?

Connect the red (positive) clamp to the positive terminal of the working battery first, then to the positive terminal of the disabled battery.

What does it mean when neither LED (red or green) light up?

If neither LED lights up, check all connections are secure and the jump starter is charged. If the issue persists, the battery may be completely dead or there could be a connection issue.
